Left 4 Dead 2 at E3 09

At E3 09, a sequel to the hit zombie killer game Left 4 Dead was announced. In Left 4 Dead 2, there are new characters, new maps, new game modes, new zombies, and new weapons!
The sequel takes place in Louisiana and features daylight gameplay. Thats right, this is a whole new ball game. Weapons such as the frying pan, chainsaw, baseball bat, and axe can be used to strategically dismember a zombie (kind of like in Dead Space.) Also with the addition of new melee weapons, there is a new twist: incendiary ammunition. Thats right, incendiary ammo is scattered across a map and when picked up, all bullets will combust into flames on contact. This will come in handy on the harder difficulty levels when you are faced with hordes of zombies. But be careful not to shoot teammates!
Some new zombies include a wandering witch, a breed between a tank and a zombie called a Charger, and a Screamer which replaces the Boomer.
Another cool addition to the series is map control. The party leader will be able to change the weather, objects on the map , and routes to the safehouse. The party leader will also have the option of changing the zombie population, and sounds and effects on the map. Now you can build your ultimate zombie level! (reminds you of Forge in Halo 3)
Left 4 Dead 2 is going to be released on November 19, 2009
